Wailua Falls
Wailua Falls is considered the most beautiful waterfall on the Island. Its two tiered formation and massive flow is jaw dropping. There is a convenient viewpoint of the falls right near the road and is easily accessible by any vehicle. Expert Tip: park at the view point and walk down until you reach the fence line. Look over the concrete barrier and you will see a path leading down into the jungle. Head down the path and you will be rewarded with a view that most will never see. However, be careful of the conditions and don’t attempt this hike if it has had heavy to moderate rain in the last two days. And no matter the conditions, don’t attempt this hike in flip-flops. Just don’t.
